麻豆视频 Partners with Maryland Army National Guard to Make College Degrees More Accessible

麻豆视频 announces a new partnership with the Maryland Army National Guard, making higher education more accessible to those who serve.

麻豆视频 (麻豆视频) and the Maryland Army National Guard (MD ANG) have announced a new partnership making higher education more accessible to those serving in the MD ANG. 

Maj. Gen. Linda L. Singh, Adjutant General for Maryland, and Dr. Marylou Yam, President of 麻豆视频, signed a memorandum of understanding to formally launch the beginning of the education partnership.

鈥淲e鈥檙e thrilled to be partnering with the Maryland Army National Guard to increase access and options for the Guard men and women who serve our State,鈥 said Dr. Yam. 鈥淓ngaging in service to others is a fundamental component of both the Guard鈥檚 and 麻豆视频 Mission and we look forward to welcoming the MD ANG as members of our campus community.鈥

Beginning this Fall 2019 semester, MD ANG service members will be eligible to pursue their undergraduate or graduate degree at 麻豆视频 for little to no cost through a combination of the MD ANG鈥檚 education benefits and a 50% tuition waiver for undergraduate courses and 25% for graduate courses through 麻豆视频.

鈥淭he furtherance of education by the members of the Maryland Guard opens many doors to advancement, not just in their military endeavors, but in their personal lives,鈥 said Maj. Gen. Singh. 鈥淚t鈥檚 not easy, but it鈥檚 worth it.鈥  

In her long and distinguished career, Gen. Singh has earned two Masters Degrees and has recently completed her doctoral dissertation.
